Drive It Day 2008
  [ HOME ]

alternatively known as.. The' Low Temperature Run'

On April 20th 2008 our intrepid drivers braved the cold to take their cars for a pleasant run out to the Moorcock Inn near Clitheroe for lunch (although some of the cars preferred petrol or diesel). Our esteemed (?) photographer was there to capture every picturesque moment.

Our organiser in hearty mood before the off.

Keeping those hands warm with a tea or coffee was essential.

The effects of Global Warming are rather subtle - yes - it really was THAT cold.

Stags were very advanced for their time....programming the Sat-Nav. Did Lionel make it for lunch?

A fine lineup of cars....

....on the large car park at the Moorcock.

The twins were also in attendance.

A pre-lunch drink (or two).

The surroundings and company at lunch were refreshingly warm.

After lunch we all departed to make our own way home. Another excellent day out.
